The synagogue is Modern Othordox so the dress code is relaxed. Some women dress modest dresses while others wear very short skirts. The men wear colors and not just black like the Hasidic sect. The young girls wear very revealing dresses and short skirts. The liturgy is in an Ashkenazi nasal tone. If you grew up in Israel and attended a Mizrachi shul or Sephardic shul, you would think they were singing in another form of Hebrew due to the pronounciations. The atmosphere is slightly stiff. People make eye contact with you, but hardly say anything to you or try to get to know you. To get invite to a meal you have to ask.

  • Really nice, friendly Shul. Enjoyed the rabbi's speech.

  • No doubt this is one of the best shuls i've ever visited. i spent a whole Shabbat there. i used the built-in module in the congregation website to find families for Shabbas meals and accomodotaion. They hosted me in a very generous manner, all with smile, pleasent atmosphere and real Hachnasat Orchim (hospitality) at the very best of the jewish tradition. In addition to the amazing families i met, i must mention the Rabbi, Rabbi Ariel Rackovsky, which is really dedicated to Torah and to this community's success together with spiritual prosperous. The blown minded Divrei Torah he adressed were totally inspired. This is truley remarkable. Well done, Yishar Koach and carry on bring Chesed and Unity as you've done so far.

  • Very welcoming place, great rabbi. I'm a person of color and was treated very well. The lack of bensching after the meals should be assessed by the leadership.
I hope to keep going and will eventually join if all goes well.

    ¡Shalom!

These people are incredibly unwelcoming to anyone who is not white, rich and a professional. If you are a single, attractive person and white, they will welcome you. Blacks, Mexicans and people of color are not welcomed. There are a handful of kindly people there. They work hard at making sure everyone is on the same page during service. Please avoid this congregation.
