  Not what I expected, this was first time planning a funeral for my father. Everything was wrong, I knew I should have went with Golden Gate, but Evergreen was a referral from a close family member. I gave them all the pictures that was requested. Mr. Madison only caress about the MONEY!! When I go to view the body, my father nails were not cut or clean. No edge up and mustache trimmed like i requested and even gave them a picture. I took my shears and trimmed my dad up myself, while crying. The CD was not what I expected at all. I could have done that and I had to request them to change the order of pictures. I could go on and on about what went wrong. I have read all the comments good and bad. I will not use their service again, and I can honestly say they taught me a valuable lesson. My family and friends deserve better., and I am still waiting on the Death Certificate and my dad died 12/27/16.Take me to Golden Gate!!

  I choose Evergreen to handle my husbands cremation and they did a wonderful job. They did what my children an I expected. He was looking like he was sleep in the casket and then called me when his remains were ready and returned all his jewelry back to me.
  They handled my sister's funeral arrangements as well and did not good job as well. I told my son if I go before him to take my body there. The staff was kind and loving!

  From the beginning to the end Evergreen did excellent and handling my moms funeral. From the time we called them to come get her body out of the house to meeting with Pastor Madison to burying her they all was so professional, caring and understanding. I advise everyone to use Evergreen because they showed my family that they really care. The employees seem to work well with each other and had each other backs. At my moms funeral we had extra support because when they finish with a funeral nearby the other associates came to help them with my moms funeral. Evergreen made the process so much easier. Thanks Evergreen Your the Best!!!

  They handled my friends wake last Thursday and his funeral Friday. They are rude they rushed us out of both services. At the wake they was cutting the lights on and off to get us out. They rushed us to wrap up the funeral. If you want a peaceful service go to another funeral home. Trust me they almost had a BIG problem and don't even know it. It's a shame how black people do you. They will never have worry about me recommending them.

  The service was fine but they will cheat you if you let them. One guy initially tried to charge us 2000 over and refused to show us an itemized list until we spoke to the owner. That same guy tried to hold the left over funds claiming they'd never received it until we called the insurance company to confirm. Be careful with these folks.
