The best worship experience my family and I have ever experienced. Wonderful music worship and Pastor Jeffress is just the best of the best the way he breaks down the scriptures where we can understand it and also uses life situations so we can better understand. We love him and we LOVE first baptist Dallas!

Dr Jeffress continues to violate the teaching of the Bible. In 1 Thessalonians 5:22, we are taught to "resist evil in all forms." Yet, Dr. Jeffress continues to betray that and most teaching of Christ as a sycophant. He offers little reflection of the Light of Christ.

The message started off okay in Sunday school, but the pastor, not sure his name started off okay but then lost translation. He talked about the scribes and pharisees and had us read in Luke 18 about how they each prayed. Proceeding this he said that there was nothing wrong with the pharisees other than they were on a higher level than the other Jews. With that being said, the pharisee prayed in detail about his life's sacrifices while the scribe or tax collector only in general said have mercy on me, god. The pastor said that pride is the only thing preventing ones from going to heaven. How did this pharisee not compare to the scribe when they both lived different lifestyles? And how does this pastor know what God percieves as wholesome? I disagree with you, humbly, pastor. You have pride, does that stop you from entering the gates? We don't need to know that you were on a treadmill this morning. Judging others is what I believe God is against. May God have mercy on you, while you lead others who look to you for guidance. I was a first time and now last time guest. I hope to find a church that not only preaches the word of God with integrity, but also from a humble heart and soul. God Bless All.
***Luke 18:14- "This man went to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but he who humbles himself will be exalted." It says nothing about God not having mercy on neither man. Nor does it specify which man was being prideful, as the pharisee felt the need to go into detail, while the scribe felt asking mercy was enough. So WHO was MORE proud?
Last thing: I see reviews stating the pastor stands up for what the bible teaches as immorality and shuns it. Maybe he was trying to win people over, but he this last Sunday service taught that God accepts homosexuality, adulterers, fornicators, murderers and the like, but he doesn't accept pride. I may agree, because of the fragile state of the world, but the bible and God condones it and it's not up to me, I'm not in His position. The bible states that walking in God's will is like walking a narrow path. It is not up to me nor you, pastor to decide what God sees as acceptable. There's lifestyle pride, status pride, material pride, ethnicity pride, all of which is acceptable in this world, but what about GODLY PRIDE? If these worldly prides are okay, as the pastor stated, then how can he say having pride will not cease with God? There's so much more I can say... But follow his word, even though it may be difficult in this world. If you really want to please him and be in the right track, the bible CANNOT be taken out of context. Yes, we come from imperfect paths, but it's not too late to get right! The nephilims, Sodom and Gomorrah, Egypt, Noah- there are SO many accounts as to what God carried out against ones straying away and doing things tied to the flesh. I was born imperfect, so don't judge me, I just want to save all of my brothers and sisters! Please thoroughly read the bible and interpret its message with your innermost soul! Or continue finding pleasure in the things you do but know it may not get you past his judgement. The choice is up to YOU!Added June 01, 2017 by Cassandra Nelson - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
If you are a fake Christian, you will fit right in at this church. The "pastor" is a slimy, hypocritical little money-grubber who talks a good game, but is actually a racist, sexist homophobe. Yes, they will dazzle you with sights and sounds and a good show, you know, the way Jesus used to.

The pastor is called a racist because he says muslims should'nt kill in the name of allah. A homophobe because he believes a marriage is between a man and a women. He preaches Jesus is the only way to salvation...awesome...my only problem is he won't answer my emails about freemasonry? This church started in a masonic hall? Right.....freemasons think God is lucifer....Lucifer is the good guy! If Dr. Jeffress takes a stand against masonry, I'll be behind him 100%...God is God, not lucifer...!!!!!!! I pray Dr. Jeffress reads this....
