  • The moment I walked into this church I immediately felt God's love. I had been feeling like a "stepchild" even though I had been in church for many, many years; and had been hurt in my spiritual, personal and professional life. Thank God for Pastor Shay Mann's Holy Ghost sermons (every one of those has been meant for me! Such an anointing from God that Brother Mann has!), for his beautiful wife and all the beautiful church family who welcomed us with open arms, no condemnation , and so much love. Beautiful friendly church family that I know have the privilege of saying this is my church, my best friends, my family. Thank you The Life Church-Dallas for all you do that keep me lifted up! Love each and everyone there!!

  • My wife and I started looking for a church in Jan. of 2016. We knew we wanted a place that beyond anything else made us feel welcome... Upon first glace the service was very energetic. People were excited to be there. We noticed smiles and people that were genuinely desiring to connect with God. As the Pastor got up I wondered how the next portion was going to go. I have been in all types of settings...from the very demonstrative orator to the calm and liturgical. This was a pleasant surprise. The pastor seemed like "one of us." He spoke as though he walked in our shoes. His message was not so deep that nobody could follow... yet just mature enough that any level of christian could take something valuable home. Oddly enough, after service the pastor was in the lobby area and made his way to find my wife and I as we were walking to our car. We spoke for a bit and again to my surprise we felt so comfortable getting to know him. We thanked him for his word and said we would be back. Since then we have become members. involved and committed to the work God is Doing at TLC. We wondered back then how long the "comfortable feeling" would last. You know, sometimes the "new" wears off.... Just last week my wife and I left the parking lot on a Sunday morning...having been involved in music ministry, taught Sunday School, and wrestling a sleepy infant during the message, said to one another how refreshed we felt...over a year later. We thank the Lord for leading us to TLC ... Such a comfortable place.

My wife and I attended this church a couple of times the people were not friendly at all showed no love or concern. We brought visitors and they were unfriendly to them also. The Bible teaches you shall no they are my disciples for they have love! The last time we attended the greeter was rude and made a sarcastic remark about my wife hair looking like something out of the eighties. Maybe she does not know a womans hair is her covering and its long because of angels! My wife hair is very thick, and just the way God made it! Thank God! Not the way some so called religious judgemental so called saint thinks it should be. Please be careful what you wear or how you might look or how your wife looks, if it does not agree to their greeters and church law going about establishing their on righteousness of the way you or your family looks beware. It ceraintly is not of God. Church is suppose to represent the body of christ and we are members in particular! I thank God for truth repentance, baptism in Jesus name and the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. Where is the Love? And acceptance? Please be careful! Many churches have become condemning and judgemental before their know anything about you!

  • My family and I have been attending The Life Church for the past 3 years after relocating from Louisiana. This is a friendly, loving, and diverse church with a Pastor who is anointed, sensitive to the spirit, and (in my opinion most important) kingdom minded. Excellent family, student, and children's classes with extremely knowledgeable and relevant leaders are available to all. This church truly represents community with the most diverse congregation I have ever experienced. We love this church and all that it represents.

PS - I've seen a couple of negative posts that are unfathomable to me. The greeters open the door for you and greet you with a smile and a welcome every time you enter the building... one even came out to my vehicle when my mother was visiting and needed some assistance as I was dropping her off near the door. The Pastor has been in church leadership for at least 20 years and has a national presence... with a spotless reputation, yet conversations with him are as if you are speaking to a close friend. I have the utmost of confidence in choosing him to shepherd our family through our spiritual walk. Proud to say we are members of The Life Church!
