  Tried to call to get my mother last rites since she is in T. Boone Pickens Cancer ward down the street. Was directed to the Pastoral emergency number...... no answer

  So we are sort of new to the area and looking for a new church and I recently proposed to my fiance so naturally we as part of the catholic church wanted a catholic church to host our wedding. Well I couldn't help but notice the lady who is in charge of the marriage advising was being very rude to my fiance. She said you can reserve the church,but if one of our parishioners want that date we will give it to them no questions asked. So natural response was to say we want to become parishoners because it is very close and are looking for a church anyway. Well she said in order to become a parishoner and reserve the church you have to wait 6 months and then you can fill out the paper work for the becoming a member and THEN reserve the church. She was very cryptic in almost all details regarding marraige and utterly was disrespectful to my fiance. I will not be getting married there because this is utterly absurd and the church was not willing to work with us.
