  After getting engaged, my fiancé and I decided to find a Church for the both of us. She was attending a very large church and I was attending a very small church.
  
  We must have visited every Episcopal Church in Dallas before falling in love with St. John's. I mean we both grew up in Dallas but, somehow this diamond had been hiding in plain sight.
  
  Both of us remembered visiting the parish a couple years early during a Maundy Thursday episcopal singles event, and we had been warmly greeted at 3 A.M. and even given a tour!!
  
  The church is very serious about reaching out into the community and even around the world in Mission work.
  
  The services are beautiful. Rite I with incense on occasion and the music program is unbelievable. You truly get a sense of the Holy when you visit.
  
  The people are warm, friendly and bend over backward to help anybody in need. And the prayer life of the people in the church is something that humbles me.
  
  So check it out - you won't be disappointed.
