  Wheatland United Methodist Church is a wonderful historical church located in South Dallas convenient to DeSoto, Duncanville, and all of Oak Cliff. The beautiful old church was originally built in 1859 and extensively remodeled in 1912. The church has beautiful stained glass windows and wonderfully curved wooden pews. The preacher is fantastic too. Once you visit this church you feel like you have stepped back to a simpler time when people were friendlier and going to church was a family experience. You will never want to ever go back to a large impersonal church after visiting Wheatland.
