  Very welcoming. Wilshire Baptist also take care of the community, without prejudice. This message is clear in the sermons and classes.

  50 years ago it was much easier to stand for God's precepts. As our nation becomes more engrossed with secular humanism the number of churches that submits to the bible will continue to shrink. One day I believe it will be illegal to even say that the homosexual lifestyle is a sin. I hope me and my friends stand firm even on that day. Wilshire Baptist, you claim that love drives you to make this decision? Jesus said if you love me, you'll obey me. 1 John 2:15. You love the world, indeed, but your disobedience is worrisome.

  My husband and I came to this church for the first time in 1995 on a rainy and cold and messy day. He did not have his motorized wheelchair at that time and I was struggling to push him up the inside ramp to the sanctuary, when a very kind gentleman came running down to help me and pushed Neil straight up the ramp. At that moment, I did not realize that the person helping me was the pastor of the church, but in retrospect, I am not at all surprised. George is a loving and Godly pastor who goes out of his way to care for all kinds of people. Thank you Wilshire and George for being my church home and pastor! We're still members since 1995.
